Finding my purpose.

Life is a journey full of twists and turns.

My journey in music began with learning bass guitar for the primary school ensemble. I took practice very seriously, using Guitar Pro 5 to facilitate most of my learning and repertoire. Using this program also led me to experiment and create tunes for the first time. Ensemble became jazz band in high school, during which a friend introduced me to proper music production software - FL Studio (which I still use now). I’ll never forget how exciting it was to show my weird EDM compositions to my peers. When the pressure of upper - grade exams led to the discovery of study beats, I became drawn to producing lo-fi music. It was around this time I found myself playing more guitar than bass. During university I launched my lo-fi project, social media presence and website. For a brief period I even played in a blues - rock trio band.

Although my journey has certainly veered into different ventures, I’ve come to realise that one thing has remained consistent since the start - the desire to express. Whether it was by performing on stage, releasing and creating music in my bedroom, or creating guitar videos on social media, music was simply one of the mediums I used to tell stories and share emotions and experiences.

Currently, blogging and video creation are my main areas of focus. I love sharing my experiences, and hope you enjoy my insights along this life-long journey of musicianship.
